How will the Antichrist deceive the World?
Share International's publications claim
that the coming of Maitreya fulfills not only Buddhist prophecies about the
appearance of a future great teacher named Maitreya, but also the prophecies of a number of other world religions- including
Christianity (the second coming of
Christ), Hinduism (the Kalki avatar of Vishnu), Islam (the Imam Mahdi) and Judaism (the Jewish Messiah).
Three major world religions whose beliefs and practices are entwined with the Share Intl’s New Age
Movement, (NAM) are Hinduism, a product of 5,000 years of development, Buddhism, circa 560 B.C., and Taoism, circa 500 B.C.
(Eerdman's Handbook to the World's Religions, pp. 170, 221, 252). Another prominent occultist influence in
Europe was Druidism, the religion of the Celts, which extended from 300 B.C. into the middle ages (Ibid., pp. 114-19).
33% of the world is Christian, which include Catholic, (1/2 of all Christians
are Catholic), Mormon, Jehovah Witnesses, etc., while 67% are other. The Antichrist should easily appeal
to the 67%, and many believe the false prophet will try to persuade the 33% of the Christians and kill those Christians who
will not be persuaded.
The Bible says that ALL
will worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life:
“And it was given
unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are
not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world,” Revelation 13:7-8.
“And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the
love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe
a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness,” 2 Thessalonians
2:10-12.
