I stumbled upon this article and thought it was interesting.
I don't agree with Pat Robertson for he is only speculating, it's only his opinion. I don't think we can even
begin to understand why God does or does not do things.

media mogul Pat Robertson told his audience on Monday that miracles occur less frequently for Americans compared to Christians
overseas in part because of an education system which produces sophisticated individuals who think they've got everything
figured out.
When asked by a viewer on his popular "700 Club" show, "Why do amazing miracles (people
raised from the dead, blind eyes open, lame people walking) happen with great frequency in places like Africa, and not here
in the USA?" Robertson put the blame squarely on the nation's education system.
"Those people overseas
didn't go to Ivy League schools," said the 83-year-old former Southern Baptist minister and the chairman of the Christian
Broadcasting Network. "We're so sophisticated. We think we've got everything figured out. We know about evolution,
we know about Darwin, we know about all these things that says God isn’t real. We know about all this stuff."
"In the more advanced schools, we've been inundated with skepticism and secularism," he said. "And
overseas they're simple, humble. You tell them God loves them, and they say, 'Okay, he loves me.' You say, 'God'll
do miracles' and they say, 'Okay, we believe him.' That's what God's looking for. That's why they
have miracles."
Despite Robertson's suggestion that evolution is taught more freely in the U.S. than in
other countries, Scientific American's Katherine Harmon pointed out that evolutionary curricula has been taught for decades
around the world.
Robertson has long been a critic of America's public education system, which he argues promotes
"liberal" ideals that in effect "indoctrinate" America's youth and "force them into a mindset
that is contrary to what their parents believe."
"You see we believe in America, in
freedom, in free choice, free enterprise, freedom; but the liberals, the progressives so-called, they want to enforce their
point of view and have people in lockstep accepting what they want," said Robertson.

It also coincides with the Jewish observance of Passover. Back in Moses’s day, the Israelites were instructed to mark the doorposts of their homes with the blood of a slaughtered
spring lamb and, upon seeing this, the spirit of the Lord knew to pass over the first-born in these homes, hence
the name of the holiday.
This passover was symbolic for the coming of the Lord Jesus of Nazareth. He is the sacrificed lamb on who
was crucified on Calvary. Those who believe and accept His sacrifice are covered (body is the Temple of God), by his spiritual
blood for their sins and will be spared at the time of judgement.
The Biblical Account of the Cruxifiction.
According to the accounts
in the Gospels, the Temple Guards, guided by Jesus' disciple Judas Iscariot, arrested Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. Judas received money (30 pieces of silver) (Matthew 26:14-16) for betraying Jesus and told the guards that whomever he kisses is the one they are to arrest. Following his arrest, Jesus
was brought to the house of Annas, the father-in-law of the high priest, Caiaphas. There he was interrogated with little result and sent bound to Caiaphas the high priest where the Sanhedrin had assembled (John 18:1-24).
Conflicting testimony against Jesus was brought forth by many witnesses, to which Jesus answered nothing.
Finally the high priest adjured Jesus to respond under solemn oath, saying "I adjure you, by the Living God, to tell
us, are you the Anointed One, the Son of God?" Jesus testified ambiguously, "You have said it, and in time you will
see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Almighty, coming on the clouds of Heaven." The high priest condemned
Jesus for blasphemy, and the Sanhedrin concurred with a sentence of death (Matthew 26:57-66). Peter, waiting in the courtyard, also denied Jesus three times to bystanders while the interrogations were proceeding just
as Jesus had predicted.
In the morning,
the whole assembly brought Jesus to the Roman governor Pontius Pilate under charges of subverting the nation, opposing taxes to Caesar, and making himself a king (Luke 23:1-2). Pilate authorized the Jewish leaders to judge Jesus according to their own law and execute sentencing; however, the Jewish
leaders replied that they were not allowed by the Romans to carry out a sentence of death (John 18:31).
Pilate questioned Jesus and told the assembly that there was no basis for sentencing. Upon learning that
Jesus was from Galilee, Pilate referred the case to the ruler of Galilee, King Herod, who was in Jerusalem for the Passover Feast. Herod questioned Jesus but received no answer; Herod sent Jesus back to Pilate. Pilate told the assembly that neither
he nor Herod found guilt in Jesus; Pilate resolved to have Jesus whipped and released (Luke 23:3-16). Under the guidance of the chief priests, the crowd asked for Barabbas, who had been imprisoned for committing murder during an insurrection. Pilate asked what they would have him do with Jesus,
and they demanded, "Crucify him" (Mark 15:6-14). Pilate's wife had seen Jesus in a dream earlier that day, and she forewarned Pilate to "have nothing to do with this righteous man"
(Matthew 27:19). Pilate had Jesus flogged and then brought him out to the crowd to release him. The chief priests informed Pilate of a new charge, demanding Jesus
be sentenced to death "because he claimed to be God's son." This possibility filled Pilate with fear, and he
brought Jesus back inside the palace and demanded to know from where he came (John 19:1-9).
Coming before the crowd one last time, Pilate declared Jesus innocent and washed his own hands in water to
show he has no part in this condemnation. Nevertheless, Pilate handed Jesus over to be crucified in order to forestall a riot
(Matthew 27:24-26) and ultimately to keep his job. The sentence written was "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews." Jesus carried
his cross to the site of execution (assisted by Simon of Cyrene), called the place of the Skull, or "Golgotha" in Hebrew and in Latin "Calvary". There he was crucified along with two criminals (John 19:17-22).
Jesus agonized on the cross for six hours. During his last 3 hours on the cross, from noon to 3 p.m., darkness
fell over the whole land.[8] With a loud cry, Jesus gave up his spirit. There was an earthquake, tombs broke open, and the curtain in the Temple
was torn from top to bottom. The centurion on guard at the site of crucifixion declared, "Truly this was God's Son!" (Matthew 27:45-54)
Joseph of Arimathea, Mary’s uncle, a member of the Sanhedrin and secret follower of Jesus, who had not consented to his condemnation, goes
to Pilate to request the body of Jesus (Luke 23:50-52). Another secret follower of Jesus and member of the Sanhedrin named Nicodemus brought about a hundred pound weight mixture of spices and helped wrap the body of Christ (John 19:39-40). Pilate asks confirmation from the centurion whether Jesus is dead (Mark 15:44). A soldier pierced the side of Jesus with a lance causing blood and water to flow out (John 19:34), and the centurion informs Pilate that Jesus is dead (Mark 15:45).
Joseph of Arimathea took Jesus' body, wrapped it in a clean linen shroud, and placed it in his own new
tomb that had been carved in the rock (Matthew 27:59-60) in a garden near the site of crucifixion. Nicodemus (John 3:1) also brought 75 pounds of myrrh and aloes, and placed them in the linen with the body, in keeping with Jewish burial customs (John 19:39-40). They rolled a large rock over the entrance of the tomb (Matthew 27:60). Then they returned home and rested, because Shabbat had begun at sunset (Luke 23:54-56). On the third day, Sunday, Jesus rose from the dead.

to better convey the protagonist's thoughts and feelings, and the author uses it judiciously and effectively. One thing
I especially appreciated was that Patience backs up her scenes with Scripture to emphasize her point. This way the curious
reader can delve into the Bible and learn more about what she's describing. Overall, I found "Scars" to be a
greatly entertaining and instructive story. The ending is one of the most riveting and moving I've ever read--and brought
tears to my eyes. I truly believe this book will become a Christian classic.

of Homeland Security (DHS) placed a solicitation by way of the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) for 700 pounds of High Density Ammonium Nitrate and 700 pounds of
A-5 Flake RDX. With the delivery date scheduled for August 31, 2012.Why?
In
the solicitation, the DHS did not specify information that a corporation seeking to reply with a bid would need. In addition, DHS is requesting
that high density ammonium nitrate and RDX (the required booster) be delivered to an undisclosed government facility in downtown Atlantic City, NJ.
Many are speculating they are planning a false flag event. False flag (aka Black Flag) operations are covert operations designed to deceive in such a way that the operations appear as though they are being carried out by other entities. The
name is derived from the military concept of flying false colors; that is: flying the flag of a country other
than one’s own. False flag operations are not limited to war and counter-insurgency operations and can be used during peace-time.

My interpretation:The ten kingdoms (regions), will receive power and rule with
the antichrist beast as one.
What are the ten kingdoms?
The Ten Kingdoms - The ten regions originated with the Club of Rome “think tank”, and was established by
the United Nations. The Club of Rome was given the task of uniting Europe, and dividing the world into manageable blocks.
Here's a map of the world, divided into the ten economic regions, which the United Nations and the Club of Rome call “The
Ten Kingdoms”. From Gary Kah’s En Route to Global Occupation, page 40: “The Club of Rome had its beginnings
in April of 1968…The Club of Rome has been charged with the task of overseeing the regionalization and unification

region.

Wal-Mart and the U.K.-based grocery chain Tesco are starting to install "smart shelves" with networked RFID readers. In what will become the largest test of the technology, consumer goods
giant Gillette recently said it would purchase 500 million RFID tags from Alien Technology of Morgan Hill, Calif.
In 2005, the European central bank was considering embedding RFID tags
into banknotes.
Apparently Macy’s, Inc. will be among the first retailers to implement
RFID on a broad national scale [in 850 Macy's and Bloomingdale's stores].
“We believe now is the right time to
roll out RFID aggressively.” - Tom Cole, chief administrative officer of Macy’s, Inc.
I disagree.It will NEVER be the right time. RFID violates our privacy by tracking our shoes and
clothing and or any other products.It’s nobody’s business where we take our items after we
leave the store.I believe this is just another way to condition the public with the tracking technology,
just like the RFID chips in pets. Pretty soon they will be in people’s right hands or forehead with the beast’s
number or name on it—not mine!
Conditioning The Youth For “The Mark Of The Beast”
Recently some 160,000 concert goers at the Coachella Music Festival had to wear trackable RFID
wristbands on their right hands in order to attend a Music Festival. This is become the standard at music
festivals and possibly by the end of the year we’ll have over 1 million people place an RFID chip on their right hand
in order to access a music venue. I believe they are “Conditioning” the people to receive the Mark of the Beast
in their right hand as prophesied in Revelation.
Revelation 13: 16And he (the False Prophet) causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive
a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number
of his name. 18 Here

You Will Be Micro-chipped Under The New Health Care Bill
The new Health Care Bill, H.R. 3200, just passed
by Congress has within it the requirement that all people thereunder shall be microchiped. The plans for this microchipping
has been in the hooper going back to December of 2004.
On page 1001 is “Subtitle C –
National Medical Device Registry” which states,
“The Secretary shall establish a national medical
device registry (in this subsection referred to as the ‘registry’) to facilitate analysis of postmarket safety
and outcomes data on each device that … is or has been used in or on a patient…”
In other words, everyone
microchipped pursuant to the new Health Care Bill must be registered with the Secretary. The “Secretary” is defined
as the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
The date by which this registry is to begin is mandated on page 1006,
which is 36 months after the Health Bill becomes law.
(2) EFFECTIVE DATE. – The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall establish and begin implementation of the
registry under section 519(g) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as added by paragraph (1) by not later than the
date that is 36 months after the date of the enactment of this Act, without regard to whether of not final regulations to
establish and operate the registry have been promulgated by such date.
Therefore, under the law of H.R. 3200 recently
passed by Congress, microchipping of Americans must begin by the year 2013.
I cite to my often quoted
Biblical Scripture in Revelation 13:16 and 17, “And he [the AntiChrist] causeth all, both small and great, rich and
poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save
he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

Having grown up a Christian I was intrigued to read a book on what our beliefs of the end of the world would
look like in a novel. What I found was a book that was well written, exciting, and kept me on the edge of my seat. I
must tip my hat to writer, Patience Prence, who takes on a troubling topic, but delivers a story that is accurate and powerful.
The main character, Becky, comes across as the typical teenager who is just trying to survive her teenage years. Suddenly
her life is turned upside down when the events of prophecy begin to unfold. The story is terrific and the way it flows
will keep the reader turning page after page to see how 'Becky' handles her situation. I enjoyed the way the author
put me in 'Becky's' place. I could feel the emotion and sense of foreboding she was going through. This is truly
a wonderful read that will keep believers as well as non-believers intrigued right up till the end. I highly recommend
this book to anyone that enjoys good stories that are well-written.

A fascinating, well thought out (and researched) end time narrative. The girl and her background read like
a true story. And true to the biblical account, the real Christ will have the "scars" on his hands, to distinguish
him from the pretenders. In this day and age, with false messiahs emerging on many fronts, the book provides an intriguing
look into the apocalyptic mind.

Every Christian should read Scars! And every Christian who reads it should give it to a non-Christian friend
to read! A powerful view of what this world is quickly coming to. I loved how the author foot noted the verses of the Bible
that supported the events taking place. The night I started reading Scars I had a "deceiver" at my front door trying
to convert me to some very distorted and WRONG interpretation of verses. This book reminded me of how so many are and will
be deceived. We must be ready!
This was a very fun read. For the critic who wrote the one star review, please note the genre: It's a
novel. That means your comment that there is nothing new here is moot. The author is not claiming theological exposition,
only telling a story. And a good one at that. Enjoy it! I did.
When I bought this book, I thought I'd be reading the same tired story line about the End Times. I was
wrong!
Scars is a very powerful story about the prophecies of Revelation as seen through the eyes of a teenage
girl. Patience Prence does a marvelous job of switching the scenes back and forth between what is the present state of mind
and condition of Rebekah and the events which led to that situation. Both the characters and the plot are very well developed.
Unlike other End Times novels, Scars does not get bogged down with in-depth theological discussions of the prophecies and,
instead, presents the major points along with the consequences for the actions of the characters. Patience Prence succeeds
in telling an exciting and emotionally moving story while also presenting a very believable interpretation of the events foretold
in the book of Revelation.

I loved the Biblical perspective this book gave me! The end just really blessed me! Makes me

What a great book! This book is from a teenagers point of veiw of the last days. Becky is in a camp awaiting
trial while she flashes back to her proir life and how she became in this predicament. She is living in the end times during
the Tribulation. How will she handle loosing family, friends, and trust at such a young age? I strongly suggest this book
if you believe in the end times or if you’re just looking into it. I would not suggest the book to a child under 16.

After you read the book, you cannot stop thinking about it, and pondering it. It stays in your memory a very
long time. That is what I think makes a book or story excellent, no matter what the format. I may prefer other styles of writing
than the one in this book, but the point is, this style worked fine, because I couldn't put the book down until I finished
it. It is a fast and easy read, so it would appeal to a bigger audience, I suspect.
I really liked the addition
of scripture, presenting the Biblical thought, and backing up the progression of the story. The subtleness of deceit was very
believable and real in the storyline.
The recant by one character at the end of the book certainly did make me
evaluate where I stand, as well. Some other reviewers also pointed to this as a great result of reading this work of fiction.
I agree. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, you must search your own heart after reading. It seems unavoidable.
I felt such a shared peace with the protagonist at the end of the book. That was awesome, and not sad. I definitely recommend
this book. It is like getting another few pieces to the jigsaw puzzle of wisdom about what is happening in our world today.

This book was really interesting. I found myself getting into the story line and seeing everything as if
it were a motion picture in my mind. Not all books are equipped with this luxury. I am Christian and have been fascinated
with end time prophesy for quite some time now, and this book was definably a great read! I purchased it for my Kindle but
I am going to buy my little sister a copy to read herself. I am not going to tell the story line, the description tells enough,
if you ask me. The only thing that I want to add is that the end is not sad, like I read in a review here. It has a very good
ending, in my opinion!
By the way, there are scriptures in the book to help you understand Biblical truths regarding
the last days. I found that refreshing!

This is a must read for all Christians as well as non- Christians. It is a spell binding novel of end times
with a strong reference to the Bible. As a Christian, I felt challenged as to the depths of my own faith, and how I would
react in the face of death when told to deny Christ in order to live.
This is also a very timely novel as it seems to draw from events worldwide that are developing or already happening today.
This book may renew faith in Christians and offer faith and salvation to non-believers.

I will recommend this book to all my friends! It is well written and concise. I started reading
it at about 6:00pm and finished it at 12:25am. I could not put it down! The world is experiencing birth pangs as Scripture
said and I believe we are very close to the Rapture. Those who have not made a commitment of faith to Jesus and asked Him
into their hearts, time is very short! The peace that surpasses all understanding will be yours....
Very easy book to read. It portrays the ramifications of not living a christian life. It certainly makes
you think long and hard about the end of the world and where one would be without Christ in your life. Could not put it down.

The first moment you pick up this book - the plot draws you in. The characters are very realistic, you get
to know them and love Becky. I enjoy end time fiction, and end time books - and this book made me stop and think how scripture
might be fulfilled.

This book is absolutely fantastic!!! It is fast moving, loaded with excitment, thrill and anxiety. I love
and truly appreciate all the Scriptures utilize to backup the overall theme of each chapter. Really hated the fact that I

This was a real page turner. This story looks at the world during the rise of the antichrist
through a teenage girl's eyes. Her life of hanging out with her girlfriend at the mall takes a terrible turn as she begins
to realize that the prophecies in the bible are coming true. Highly recommended!

I would recommend the book "Scars" to anyone that enjoys a good read. Page 43 had me in tears as
well as the very end. But not tears of sadness, tears of joy. I gave this book 5 stars because, in all honesty, it deserves
them. "Scars" is a well told story from start to finish and won't disappoint the reader. Someday, I hope to
write a novel as enjoyable as "Scars" was.

This book was riveting. Revelation has always been somewhat a mystery to me and having the Bible verses given
along with the story was a great way to feel like you are learning the Bible, the book of Revelation. I really enjoyed this
girls story of what end times could like like for us now. I'm on my way to lunch with a friend and will pass Scars on
to be read again and again. I highly recommend it.
I really enojoyed this book. I was surprised to read the review with the racist comment. I felt it was as
a very genuine, Christian based book. I highly recommend it to anyone. I am purchasing a few for my daughters and my niece.

Releasing my own mid-trib end times fiction soon 2025.The Guardian. So few Bible followers
think that anything bad can happen to a Christian. This author gives us a suspenseful story not ignoring the Bible
verses that refer to Christians or believers having to suffer. My heart went out to the sixteen year old girl whose
family was destroyed by evil. I felt a great warning when the media man who was Christian did not have the courage
to stand up for Jesus... the real Jesus of Nazareth. And the question is, of course, would I be brave enough to
keep my faith? Good job Patience. A good read. The title ties the book together.

As of this writing, America teeters on the precipice of financial disaster, thanks to President Obama's
radical, leftist policies. According to Scripture, the Antichrist rises to power amid worldwide economic collapse and unbridled
conflict in the Middle East. How close are we to the end of the world system? Is the Antichrist alive today? Bible scholar
and prophecy-author Grant Jeffrey thinks so.
"Scars" is one author's idea of what the end times,
and the Antichrist, will look like--through the eyes of 16-year-old Becky Silver. Becky is innocent, charming, strong-willed,
and highly sensitive, and I have a sneaking suspicion that Patience Prence is the same! :-)
The narrative-writing
is rich and colorful, the dialogue free-flowing and realistic. As a Christian novelist, I frequently use interior monologue
to better convey the protagonist's thoughts and feelings, and the author uses it judiciously and effectively. One thing
I especially appreciated was that Patience backs up her scenes with Scripture to emphasize her point. This way the curious
reader can delve into the Bible and learn more about what she's describing.
Overall, I found "Scars"
to be a greatly entertaining and instructive story. The ending is one of the most riveting and moving I've ever read--and
brought tears to my eyes. I truly believe this book will become a Christian classic.

Some may read this book and feel like it's too farfetched, but in reality I can see this type of thing
happening. It is a very scary reality. If the right one were to come along that can "Show" or "Prove"
his powers, so many would be deceived. This book really makes you consider, how strong your faith really is. Are we truly
willing to die for what you believe? The ends of times are so close. We really need to get it together. I really enjoyed this

AUTHOR PATIENCE PRENCE has written SCARS; An Amazing End Time Prophecy. It is a book that EVERY
Human Being should read - regardless of his/her religion, color, national origin, a believer of God or a non-believer.
We have all been told this world will end. We do not know when, or really how it will end, but it is a widely accepted
fact that it will end.
Author PATIENCE PRENCE has woven a scenario by creating REBEKAH SILVER as her protagonist.
Rebekah is a typical sixteen years old High School student living in California. The product of a Jewish father and a Catholic
mother, neither of whom are in daily practice of their religion. Rebekah is only a child, but she is soon faced with a life
threatening challenge. The book brings awareness to many events happening in our world today, that could very well be reality
in its' most horrific form. There is economic chaos, there are rebellions against many nation's governments, wars
that seem to have no end and then there are the "Acts of God" in the form of natural disasters (e. g. Tsunamis,
earthquakes, volcanic erruptions), leaving millions of people dead and property damages in the billions of dollars.
In "SCARS; An Amazing End-Time Prophecy", Author PATIENCE PRENCE quotes many Scriptures from the Bible (The King
James Version), and eloquently combines them with what is happening in our world today, and through the eyes of Rebekah Silver
leads her readers to a mind-expanding experience of what very well could be a "wake-up call" for Mankind, to proffer
Truth and hope for mankind.
I was mesmerized in reading this book . . . scared? . . . not really, but I still
see HOPE.
I highly recommend this very exciting book.

After just purchasing my kindle, I went and downloaded quite a few books onto it. I can truly
say that this is one of the best books I have read, in a long, long time. It is very well written, and I really connected
with the main character (Becky) and I felt her pain. Even though it is a religious type book, I didn't feel I was being
preached at, but at the same time, it gave me food for thought. I purchased this book, to let my daughter read it, and now
it has been getting passed round the family, and every one has enjoyed it immensely. The only drawback is that I have to lend
them my kindle to read it.
End-Times televangelist Jack Van Impe storms off network

Michigan televangelist Jack Van Impe has preached the End Times for decades. Last week, his time ended at the Trinity Broadcast
Network because of a dustup over two fellow televangelists.
The Rochester Hills-based host of
"Jack Van Impe Presents" left the network because it yanked a show that was supposed to air June 6 that featured
criticism of nationally known pastors Rick Warren and Robert H. Schuller.
Van Impe accused the
two of trying to combine Christian and Muslim beliefs into a new movement called "Chrislam."
"Wherever Chrislam or its equivalent are promoted, Christians should run for their spiritual
lives," Van Impe said in a copy of the show on YouTube.
Van Impe has hosted several daily
programs on TBN for 23 years. Its president, Paul Crouch, said network policy prohibits its airwaves from being used as a
"bully pulpit for endless debate and/or criticism on/of various doctrinal issues among denominations."
Van Impe decided last week to end the network affiliation, saying "I will not be silenced. I will not allow
anyone to tell me what I can and cannot preach."
Van Impe spokesman Ken Vancil said "we
would not be able to minister effectively if we had to look over our shoulder."
"Jack
Van Impe Presents" is broadcast on other stations besides TBN.
Warren is pastor of Saddleback
Church in California, the eighth-largest church in the United States, and author of several best sellers. A spokesperson declined
comment.
Schuller is also a California pastor who hosted the "Hour of Power" show.
His staff couldn't be reached for comment.
