Oprah Winfrey’s new series “Belief” looks at
a number of religions and might make one believe there are many paths to God, as Oprah has said in the past. What
does the Holy Bible say about how to get to God?
Scripture tells us, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God..” (Romans 3:23) And that “…the
wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord…” (Romans 6:23).
Jesus is the only way of salvation because He is the only One who paid our sin penalty. No other religion
offers the infinite payment of sin that only Jesus Christ could provide. “..Neither is there salvation in any other:
for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12). Jesus saith unto
him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6).
Do not be deceived! “…there
be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other
gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If
any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed,” Galations
1:7-9.
Let’s keep Oprah in prayer that her eyes may be opened to accept that Jesus is the Christ. “…Who
is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son,” 1 John
2:22
